Aims and Scope

The International Journal of Environmental & Science Education (IJESE) publishes original, double-blind peer-reviewed articles from throughout the world in the fields of social sciences, education, pedagogy, linguistics, sociology, anthropology, economics, engineering, and environmental science.  The main aim is to give experts in these fields the opportunity of publishing and disseminating their original scholarly works and ideas for the benefit of academics, researchers, institutions, educators, and learners. It is hoped that the journal will establish a strong basis for disseminating high-quality research that will lead to more effective practices.

IJESE is an Open Access journal and adopts a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Therefore, the whole content published electronically by IJESE is freely available without charge to all users and their institutions. While the authors maintain the copyright to their articles, under CC 4.0 users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is all in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of "open access publishing."

The scope of IJESE covers the primary subject areas of Engineering, Environmental Science, and Social Sciences. While articles in social sciences may employ a range of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed research methods in pure sciences, mathematics, and statistics, on the other hand, both theoretical and experimental methods can be employed.
